Meet the Team
Matt Allen
Owner
Matt Allen has been in the building business for years. Matt worked as a framing contractor while attending college. After college, he bought his first business, Blue Bird Metal, now known as Middle Tennessee Metal.
Matt ran the company for several years installing metal roofs and building agricultural buildings. While running the metal shop, Matt started Allen’s Roofing and eventually sold the metal business.
Matt has been involved in starting and growing many roofing companies across the Southeastern United States. He is valued as a leader in the roofing industry and is frequently called upon to consult large companies with their roofing practices.
Mike Reel
Owner
Mike Reel has spent most of his life living in Cookeville and working in the healthcare industry. Over the past twenty years, Mike has become immersed in the world of rental property and commercial real estate management.
He became partners with Matt in several real estate endeavors that led them to a partnership in the roofing industry as co-owners of the company that Matt founded.
Jake Reel
General Manager
Jake Reel grew up around real estate development and construction. He began helping on job sites while in high school and continued doing minor renovations and construction while attending college at Tennessee Tech University.
After graduating, Jake went into the paper manufacturing industry for seven years. He returned to Cookeville in 2021 as the general manager of Allen’s Roofing.
His education and background in lean manufacturing have blended well in the roofing industry. Working for the family business was always a dream for Jake. He is excited to be the face of the next generation of Allen’s Roofing.
Clay Padgett
Superintendent
Clay Padgett has been with Allen’s Roofing since 2010. With a lifetime of construction experience as a lead man and foreman, he is a great asset to our team. He spends his days in the field supervising the crew and being a liaison to customers while their project is underway.
Clay ensures our crew works precisely, efficiently and to Allen’s Roofing standards.
